Community with others is very important to us; we want to build friendship with those around us by taking part in daily life with them.  One of the dreams that we have for this old house is to host events and parts and we have spent a good deal of time trying to plan practical ways to utilize the space we have for that while keeping our basic space as it is now.

We have had a few small gatherings here but after some thought, we decided that it was time for a party in style. It’s also a sort of christening for our guest house. If you are a reader and live in the area, we like to invite you to the:

Do you feel connected to your community? What are some ways that you connect with others?

As an aside; I have had a significantly higher than normal increase in emailed responses. And I’m trying not to get insecure about the drop in the comments ;). I wondering though if the sign is continuing to give problems. If it is and your are unable to comment, would you mind emailing me at chickadeeswing@gmail.com to let me know?
